For the most part we use air conditioning mainly in spring and summer, during these time the months are warmer, and the sun is shining for the more hours of the day. Therefore, solar air conditioning would be a great idea because there would basically always be solar energy from the sun to top up the air conditioning system. Just like solar powered cars and outdoor lighting, solar air conditioning will soon be used more and more. The solar air conditioning system works just like any other, the only real major difference being its power supply, which uses the UV rays of the sun rather than electricity. More specifically, the solar air conditioning system uses the rays of the sun during the day to keep the air conditioning system running, and then stores the powerful solar energy, to enable the system to work throughout the night, when the sun is not shining. Some benefits of solar air conditioning, there are a number of different benefits that come from using this type of air conditioning system. Environment: One of the biggest benefits is to the environment. When you consider the amount of energy that regular air conditioners use and then consider the fact that you are not using anywhere near as much energy with the solar system, then it is quite amazing. Financial: Not only are you helping the environment, you will also be saving yourself a lot of money as well. You will not be paying large electricity bills at the end of each month, because your system is only using the rays of the sun as a power source, which is free. There are lots of other benefits that will show just how much better off you are by installing a solar powered air conditioning system. No.1 Untitled I live in the arizona desert and have over 320 days of sunshine a year so I could also use the A/C heat pumpduring the winter months. we only need maybe 14 days of heating every winter. I have not been able to find any websites that helpme determine sizing such a system for my home. and pricing it out for solar panels and related components. I would love to make my whole house solar but That sounds like it would be very exspensive. any thoughts or links drop me a line. thanks
