Ethanol is an amazing creation of the world.
It has many uses. There are two ways to make it; by hydration of ethene and fermentation.

Why is it that no one will tell us if we can use fresh plant material in fermentation to make ethanol.
Also, do chop up plant material to aid in fermentation.
I have heard that you can use straw, rice stock, corn stock and any organic plant material and treat it with acid and enzymes to cause the starch to turn to sugar.
Please help me find a non grain to use to ferment

okay, well im only doing a project, but think of if we stopped depending on oil from another country, and we drill in alaska for what ever. how many animals would go extinct, and how long would it be until we run out of it and HAVE to go back to the countries for their oil, do you realy thinkt they are going to be happy about that, maybe sympathetic to the point where after were all done begging they are going to let us buy from them? not likely.
